The ISAR Klinikum, located in Munich's downtown, has pioneered a new health concept: by combining cutting-edge technology, innovative medicine with individualized, personal care, the patient’s well-being is the center of this clinic’s philosophy. The clinic is representative of truly interdisciplinary state-of-the-art medicine with a visionary concept.
The ISAR Klinikum links the quality of a university hospital with a familiar atmosphere to ensure patients receive the best possible care. The technical equipment of the ISAR Klinikum speaks for the high standard and demand as well as the quality of the house. The experts of the clinic offer the latest OR rooms with state-of-the-art devices. For example, the neurosurgeons use the O-Arm, an intraoperative CT scanner rarely found in any clinic in Germany. “The ISAR Klinikum is patient-oriented. Our entire team – both physicians or nurses – works hand in hand for that,” says Andreas Arbogast, executive director of the ISAR Klinikum.
“We take patient responsibility seriously by offering him or her therapy that provides a real benefit. Each patient is in personal contact with the attending head physician and is an important aspect of our treatment concept,” notes Mr. Arbogast. In the inpatient department, the patient enjoys an exceptionally high standard comparable to one of a hotel: Bright, comfortable rooms with entertainment system at every bed ensure that the stay at the clinic is arranged in the most agreeable way possible. But also the close proximity of relatives is important for a speedy recovery. Therefore, family can also stay in the patient room overnight.
The ISAR Klinikum follows a clear strategy: Specialist medical competence, innovative medicine and the latest technology, and a clear focus on the interpersonal aspect in the care of every patient – and this for both outpatient and inpatient areas, regardless of public and private insurance.

The ISAR Klinikum's quality management objective is increased performance in all areas that go far beyond the legal requirements. The results are presented in a transparent way in the quality report, which serve the patients as a decision-making aid. Moreover, patient safety is top-priority here.
The quality management of the ISAR Klinikum is currently in the process of getting certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 for services in health care. At the center of this standard are the clinical processes, patient safety and risk management. Moreover, the clinic is a member of the association “Aktion Saubere Hände” (Clean Hands Campaign) and has been repeatedly awarded for its high-performance level by the German health insurances.

"I am very satisfied and would recommend this clinic. I found Isar Klinikum to be very organised and well managed. The doctors were not only very experienced and friendly but also attended to me promptly. I will certainly like to visit this hospital in future if I have any medical challenge."
"Super Klinik ! Alles tip top"
